Since 1982, Dr. Silverman has given seminars and onsite consultations to dentists wanting to expand their cosmetic dental practices. His marketing, management, and technical programs taught dentists how to convert their offices into cosmetic dentistry practices, including refining and pioneering many of the bonding and porcelain veneer systems. Today, the Silverman Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry offers a risk-free practice management program for onsite coaching. In 1987, Dr. Silvermanís innovative approach included opening the first smile spa in a beauty setting after working with beauty developers Glemby International of NY and Aida Gray of Beverly Hills. In 1992 the Guthy-Renker Corporation brought Dr. Silvermanís invention, the Vanna Whiteís Perfect Smile System, to the public. The National Infomercial Marketing Association nominated him as inventor of the product of the year in 1993. He has invented several other new whitening systems that combined infomercials with retail distribution. He has written numerous articles in dental journals on how to establish a cosmetic dental practice and has served as a contributing and consulting editor in the dental press. He is a Fellow in the American Society for Dental Aesthetics and a Diplomat of the American Board of Aesthetic Dentistry. The Silverman Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry has recently developed the Dr. Silverman's Cosmetic Dental Centers , a system that provides proven methods to inform, educate and motivate your patients about contemporary cosmetic dentistry.
